COMA ALLIANCE

Coma Alliance ist das gemeinsame Projekt der Wave/Elektro-Künstler Adrian Hates (Diary of Dreams) und Torben Wendt (diorama). Nachdem sich ihre Wege über Jahrzehnte hinweg bei Tourneen und Musikproduktionen gekreuzt hatten, fiel der Entschluss, die gemeinsame musikalische Wellenlänge in einem Projekt zu manifestieren und auf diese Weise etwas Neuem Raum zu geben. Die stilistische Verankerung beider Musiker in der Dark-Alternative-Szene ergänzt Coma Alliance mit Elementen aus Trip Hop und Minimal Electro. Das Zusammenspiel der markanten Stimmen und der unterschiedlichen Herangehensweisen an die Produktion erschließt dabei ein eigenständiges klangliches Spannungsfeld - groovig, düster, modern. 2016 gab es die erste Tour unter dem Namen Coma Alliance. Damals als unabhängige Auftritte von Diary of Dreams und diorama mit wechselseitigen Gastauftritten konzipiert. Im Januar 2019 gehen Adrian und Torben einen Schritt weiter. Coma Alliance spielen in 7 Städten in Deutschland und in 2 Städten in Russland - als 1 Band mit 1 gemeinsamen Bühnenshow. Zu hören sind sowohl neue Interpretationen der bekannten Klassiker beider Bands als auch die Songs des Coma Alliance Debut Albums. Das noch unbetitelte Werk wird Ende 2018 als CD sowie auf allen Download- und Streaming-Plattformen erscheinen. Weitere Informationen dazu sind in Kürze verfügbar. COMA ALLIANCE

Coma Alliance is the joint project of wave/electro artists Adrian Hates (Diary of Dreams) and Torben Wendt (diorama). For decades, their paths crossed time and again while touring or at music productions, leading to the decision to finally use the common musical wavelength, forge a new project out of it and give room to something new. At Coma Alliance, their stylistic roots, firmly embedded in the dark alternative scene, are complemented by trip hop and minimal electro elements. The interaction of both their distinctive voices and their different approach to production creates a unique new sound – groovy, dark, modern.
They first went on tour under the Coma Alliance moniker in 2016, at the time still devised as independent shows of either Diary of Dreams and diorama with mutual guest appearances. In January 2019, Adrian and Torben will take the project one step further. Coma Alliance will play 7 German and 2 Russian cities – as 1 band with 1 joint stage show. They will present both new interpretations of well-known classic pieces of both their bands as well as songs from Coma Alliance’s upcoming debut album. The yet untitled record will be released on CD and on the relevant download and streaming platforms in late 2018. Further information will follow soon.
